Sands (University of Minnesota, USA) delivered a general lecture entitled "Recent Development of Environmental Studies for Water Resources Management Toward Sustainable Agriculture," which was attended by agricultural engineering professors, lecturers, and students from Syiah Kuala University. Prof. Gary is an expert in the field of water management and quality for agricultural systems within the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering.
Banda Aceh, May 22, 2023 The general lecture has been conducted with the theme: "Innovation in the Processing of Palm Sugar" in Banda Aceh. This activity was presented by Azzanuddin Kurnia, SP, MP. The activity was attended by the students of the Agricultural Engineering Department and managers of the Agricultural Research and Mechanization Center (PUSMEPTAN) Syiah Kuala University.

In connection with the implementation of the certified internship program within the scope of the Merdeka Learning Program (MBKM), head of Agricultural Engineering Department, Dr.rer, hort. Indera Sakti Nasution, M.Sc signed a cooperation agreement with the Climatology Station of Class IV BMKG Aceh aimed at mutually supporting the success of activities related to the MBKM program.

Malaysia, Sep 11, 2023. Agricultural engineering students USK attended the Short-Term International Programme Collaboration: Sustainable Project-Based Learning Programme at the School of Industrial Technology, University of Science Malaysia (USM). The program hosted by USM from 3 to 10 September 2023. The program is a collaborative program between USK and USM that focuses on improving student science and technology skills, problem-solving skills, creativity, collaboration, time management, communication skills, and leadership.

Agricultural Engineering Department USK invited lecturer from Georg August Universität Göttingen- Deutschland, Dr. Johanna Mörlein (Staff Labor für sensorische Analysen und Konsumentenforschung) on the theme "Sensory Evaluation in Food Science vs Artificial Sense: Can Machine Repalce Man?". This general school is expected to improve the competence of faculty and students of Prodi Agricultural Engineering USK.

Aceh Tamiang, May 29, 2023. The field trip for agricultural engineering students took place in Aceh Tamiang. During this activity, students visited the P.T. Socfindo palm coconut factory and the small and medium-sized micro enterprise of palm sugar processing. The activities involved lecturers from the Agricultural Engineering Department, the Agricultural Agency of Aceh Tamiang, and the Agricultural and Plantation Department of Aceh Province.

One of the lecturers of Agricultural Engineering Department of USK Dr.-Ing Agus Arip Munawar, S.TP, M.Sc obtained the award for his entry in the list of names Top 100 Scientists version of Elsevier. Elsevier is one of the world's largest providers of scientific, technical and medical information and a technology company founded in 1880.
Banda Aceh, 8 Agustus 2022. Scheme for Academic and Mobility Exchange (SAME) is a programme of the Director-General of Resources and Dictation Competence to develop collaborative research competence with partners abroad and industry. One of the SAME 2022 recipients is Agus Arip Munawar of USK Agricultural Engineering who conducted research in collaboration with Partners at the Technische Universität Hamburg (TUHH) Germany. His research collaboration is related to software systems for artificial intelligence. (AI).
